Common Core Lesson Plan Template Review

New www.CCSS123.com Review:

"These templates are outstanding and every teacher should have a set in their classroom. My 5th grade students were performing at a 2nd grade level of the CCSS when I first started using these templates at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year. I got the K-5 ELA CD and used the templates to help me guide my lessons at a slow and even pace, taking my students all the way up to a 4th grade level. My students are not quite where they are supposed to be yet, but thanks to the use of these templates they're a heck of a lot closer to where they should be! Thanks Stars-Edu.com for sharing these."

Stars Middle School Debaters

So proud of our students at Stars Educational Consortium for their hard work and dedication in our Final Debate Tournament that took place on February 10, 2013 in front of our local State Representatives and local government officials. Below is a video of one of the team debates:

Debating in schools (especially middle schools) is an excellent way to make learning fun for students. Everyone likes a little competition, so why not bring a little in your classroom through the use of debate. Students can debate topics that you are teaching in your classroom. For example, if you are teaching a lesson on the Civil War, students can debate on a topic related to the Civil War. Therefore, integrating literacy into your classroom curriculum. STARS MIDDLE SCHOOL DEBATE PROGRAM is aligned to the Common Core State Standards and helps students gain confidence in public speaking and also helps them find their hidden talents. Debating encourages reading and promotes research skills. To learn more about how we can help you bring a debate program to your school, please visit www.Stars-Edu.com
